Our approach

How a 9x9 game gets made

  1. Start with a learning goal. Every game begins with grade-level standards and the questions kids actually ask.
  2. Prototype the play. We build the fun first on paper and in quick builds, then fold the learning into the mechanics.
  3. Learn from family playtests. We try the games with our own family and use what we learn to improve each build.
  4. Measure growth, not screen time. Short sessions with clear progress that parents can see.
